Take your career to the next level with Amaris Consulting as an IT Lead, Travel Customer Interaction Services. Be part of an international team, thrive in a global group with a €800M turnover and over 1,000 clients worldwide, and work on technology products supporting Travel Insurance and Assistance services.
You’ll join the Travel IT team in Barcelona and work closely with the Travel CIO, business stakeholders, IT teams and international delivery teams. Fluent English is required.
✍️ What would you need?
- Senior experience as an IT Lead, IT Manager, Application Manager, Product Manager or IT Delivery Manager.
- Strong experience in software delivery and technical project management.
- Proven experience leading technical teams in Agile environments.
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban or similar delivery frameworks.
- Technical background in software engineering, application management, architecture, DevOps or infrastructure.
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers, contractors and external providers.
- Experience managing teams of 15 people or more, including recruitment and performance follow-up.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in international organisations.
- Knowledge of insurance business processes, preferably Travel Insurance.
- Understanding of Travel Claims and Assistance processes.
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English, written and spoken. French or another European language is a plus.
- Availability to work in Barcelona.
👉 What will you be doing?
- Lead a team of approximately 15 internal and external professionals.
- Define team organisation, roles, objectives and responsibilities.
- Coach and support Tech Leads and Scrum Masters.
- Lead recruitment, team development and performance follow-up.
- Manage an annual team budget of approximately €1M.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, software providers and IT service partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for senior management in escalated situations.
- Work with business and transformation teams to define solutions, resources, technologies and delivery plans.
- Manage products and applications throughout their lifecycle, from business needs and development through production, support and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that products and applications are delivered with the expected quality, budget and stability.
- Monitor production issues, service performance and business KPIs.
- Support the definition of technical solutions, architecture decisions, APIs and delivery processes.
- Coordinate communication between IT, business, offshore teams and other technology stakeholders.
- Prepare clear analysis and recommendations to support budget planning and delivery decisions.
