Job description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to support data processing and transformation activities in an industrial environment. You will investigate data sources, understand how data flows and evolves through different systems, and contribute to building reliable data pipelines using Python and modern cloud technologies.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
- Explore and analyse data sources to understand where data originates and how it is collected.
- Investigate and document data flows, transformations, and processing steps.
- Develop and maintain data transformation processes using Python.
- Contribute to data processing and integration initiatives within Snowflake and AWS environments.
- Support data cataloguing, traceability, and governance activities using tools such as Collibra.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
🎯 Your Profile:
- You have 1–4 years of experience in data engineering, data processing, or a similar role.
- You hold a Master's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You have practical experience with Python and an interest in data transformation and data pipelines.
- You have knowledge of, or are eager to develop your skills in, Snowflake, AWS, and Collibra.
- You are curious, analytical, and comfortable investigating complex data flows to understand how information is structured and transformed.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is a plus.
- You are a native French speaker and have a B2 level of English.
