Job description
Amaris Consulting is looking for an Ecommerce Specialist to support our clients' digital commerce activities across Australia and New Zealand.
You’ll work across e-merchandising, performance marketing and website content operations, helping improve product discovery, customer experience and online sales. The role involves close collaboration with local, regional and global teams, including Communications, PR, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Client Relations, agencies and technology partners.
What you’ll do
E-merchandising
- Manage product grids and category pages to improve product discovery and conversion.
- Apply sorting strategies based on newness, best sellers, seasonal priorities and gifting occasions.
- Maintain category hygiene, including product placement, duplication checks, missing products and inclusion or exclusion rules.
- Coordinate product badges and labels such as New, Best Seller and Limited.
- Work with internal teams to reflect campaign priorities, product availability and stock levels on site.
- Track product and category performance, including views, add-to-carts and conversions.
Performance marketing
- Review traffic and campaign performance across Paid Search, Paid Social and affiliate channels.
- Manage search and social advertising accounts and budgets.
- Work with Google, communications teams, agencies and other partners to improve campaign results.
- Develop affiliate initiatives that bring in new customer audiences.
- Coordinate local EDM and SMS campaigns for Australia and New Zealand, including content, targeting and performance reviews.
Content operations
- Coordinate daily website updates based on campaign and business priorities.
- Brief global content authors on local requirements.
- Review page content, links, layout, responsiveness, tagging and localization.
- Support A/B testing with global teams and external agencies.
- Make sure website content is accurate, timely and consistent across Australia and New Zealand.
What you’ll bring
- Academic background in ecommerce, digital marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, website operations, content execution, site updates, publishing workflows, or digital commerce activities.
- Experience with Google Ads, affiliate platforms, search platforms, content management systems, and authoring tools such as Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with e-merchandising activities, including product grids, category maintenance, on-site discovery improvements, and product performance analysis.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of omnichannel customer journeys across website and in-store environments.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate digital performance insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills in a cross-functional, regional, and global environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and evolving business needs.
