ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Junior to Mid-level Application Support Analyst to support business-critical banking applications within an international financial services environment.
In this role, you will provide L1/L2 application support, investigate production incidents, and work closely with business users, technical teams, infrastructure teams, and external partners to ensure applications remain stable and reliable.
- Provide L1/L2 application support for banking applications and services.
- Monitor applications and investigate production incidents.
- Troubleshoot issues using UNIX/Linux commands, application logs, and SQL queries.
- Coordinate incident resolution with business users, development, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
- Follow incidents through to resolution while respecting agreed SLAs.
- Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to preventing recurring incidents.
- Support daily operational activities and application health checks.
- Maintain accurate incident records, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Communicate clearly with local and international stakeholders in English.
- Support continuous improvement of application support and operational processes.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of professional experience in Application Support, Production Support, or a similar role.
- Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services is mandatory.
- Good practical knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
- Good knowledge of SQL for investigation and data verification.
- Understanding of application support, incident management, and production environments.
- Strong service-oriented mindset and ability to support business users.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and reliable.
- Comfortable working in an international environment.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Strong Advantage:
- Experience with Thai banking applications or payment systems.
- Knowledge of PromptPay, BAHTNET, ITMX, or interbank payment systems.
- Exposure to E-Withholding Tax, ThaiBMA, SSO, or other regulatory/government integrations.
- Experience with local payment, clearing, or transaction-processing applications.
