Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager Salesforce to lead large-scale Salesforce implementation and digital transformation initiatives for one of our clients, an international organization / NGO.
You will manage multiple Salesforce-related workstreams and coordinate international project teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring successful delivery across scope, timelines, resources, budget, quality, and organizational change.
Your missions
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Salesforce implementation and transformation projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues, quality, and communication.
- Manage multiple business and technical workstreams and ensure alignment across project, operational, and change management activities.
- Monitor project progress, critical paths, risks, dependencies, and blockers and coordinate mitigation actions.
- Provide regular status reporting to the PMO and senior stakeholders.
- Manage senior and executive-level stakeholders and communicate project progress, decisions, risks, and required actions.
- Lead project governance meetings, vendor reviews, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
- Manage external vendors and implementation partners, including Statements of Work, estimates, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and contractual commitments.
- Challenge vendor estimates and delivery plans where needed and proactively resolve delivery bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Coordinate international, on-site, nearshore, offshore, and virtual project teams.
- Work closely with Salesforce architects, consultants, developers, business analysts, QA, DevOps, and Release Management teams.
- Coordinate testing, UAT, release planning, deployment, and rollout activities across Salesforce environments.
- Ensure alignment with Salesforce DevOps and Release Management best practices within shared Salesforce environments.
- Work closely with the Change Manager to integrate organizational change, stakeholder engagement, communication, training, business readiness, and adoption activities into project delivery.
- Maintain PMO documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, budget tracking, and resource plans.
- Manage project budgets, resources, project costs, and delivery quality.
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members and monitor performance against agreed milestones.
Your profile
- At least 7 years of professional experience in senior project management, programme management, Salesforce delivery, or a closely related role.
- Proven experience managing multiple large-scale Salesforce implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and implementation lifecycle.
- Experience managing complex Salesforce programmes involving multiple business and technical workstreams.
- Strong understanding of business requirements, Salesforce solutions, integrations, data, testing, deployment, and organizational change.
- Proven experience delivering IT-business projects across multiple geographical locations and departments.
- Strong experience managing senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing external vendors, implementation partners, Statements of Work, estimates, deliverables, and vendor performance.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality.
- Good understanding of Salesforce DevOps, Release Management, deployment processes, and shared Salesforce environments.
- Experience coordinating testing, UAT, releases, deployments, and production rollouts.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance principles, and PMO processes.
- Professional project management qualification or certification such as PMI / PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum.
- Experience managing international and multicultural project teams.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a complex environment.
Nice to have
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Business Analyst, Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Agentforce Service Consultant.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, data migration, workflow automation, and enterprise systems.
- Experience delivering global or regional Salesforce programmes within international organisations.
- Previous experience in an international organisation, NGO, public sector, or similarly complex global environment.
- Change management experience or certifications such as Prosci, ADKAR, or CCMP.
- ITIL v4, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
