Job description

As a consultant, you will be embedded in a high‑tech innovation environment at our clients.

You will work on end‑to‑end electronics development: from concept and schematic design to PCB layout, prototyping, validation, and industrialization, supporting fast realization of functional models and effective product development in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analog electronic circuits for low‑noise, low‑power, and high‑frequency applications in complex hardware systems.
  • Create and maintain detailed schematics and circuit diagrams using professional EDA tools (e.g. Xpedition or equivalent).
  • Own the electronics design across the full product lifecycle, from concept and schematic through PCB layout, prototyping, validation, and release to production.
  • Build, test, debug, and troubleshoot electronic prototypes, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with requirements.
  • Conduct and contribute to design reviews, driving technical problem‑solving, design optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Integrate manufacturability and industrialization considerations into PCB/PCBA designs in collaboration with manufacturing and industrialization stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams (hardware, firmware, mechanics, quality) to deliver robust, high‑quality hardware solutions.
  • Document designs, test results, and design decisions in a clear and structured way to support traceability and future maintenance.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of industrial experience in analog electronics design and product development.
  • Strong hands‑on experience in analog circuit design, including low‑noise, low‑power, and high‑frequency applications.
  • Proven track record across the complete electronics development lifecycle: schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, testing/validation, and product release.
  • Solid knowledge of high‑speed electronics, Signal Integrity (SI), and Power Integrity (PI) principles and best practices.
  • Experience with digital circuit design and mixed‑signal systems is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with professional EDA tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g. Xpedition or similar).
  • Experience working within structured development processes, including design reviews, verification and validation, and documentation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical topics clearly in English, Dutch is a plus.

Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company.  That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.
