As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in coordinating construction and outfitting activities on site, ensuring that safety, quality, technical compliance and coordination are maintained throughout the project.

 

πŸ”₯ Responsibilities

  • Support the Construction Manager in the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the site and engineering teams for technical queries, particularly in electromechanical areas.
  • Coordinate and participate in inspections and follow up on technical and quality-related topics.
  • Provide technical ownership for electromechanical issues encountered during construction and outfitting activities.
  • Act as a technical reference point for site inspectors and ensure a strong understanding of project and contractor documentation.
  • Lead the follow-up of quality topics, including non-conformities and quality processes.
  • Coordinate incoming inspection reports and ensure clear communication with the contractor and internal site teams.
  • Review technical documentation submitted by contractors.
  • Coordinate external vendors and stakeholders visiting the site.
  • Support the Construction Manager in managing the site team and liaising with contractors and operational teams.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
  • Contribute to technical analyses and other project-related activities when required.

 

🎯 Profile

  • 4–6 years of experience in site engineering, construction, supervision or project coordination, ideally within an industrial, energy or infrastructure environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and construction activities.
  • Experience with site coordination and supervision.
  • Comfortable coordinating multidisciplinary teams and interacting with contractors and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of quality processes, inspections and non-conformity management.
  • Familiarity with Windchill is required.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent Dutch is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to take ownership of technical topics and work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
