Job description

As a Scientist Bioanalysis – Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacometrics, you’ll be responsible for designing, executing and interpreting bioanalytical assays to support discovery and development projects across multiple modalities and therapeutic areas. This is a laboratory‑based position where you will lead the development and implementation of innovative analytical methods using chromatographic techniques and mass spectrometry, helping to push the boundaries of analytical science and impact drug discovery and development.

Your missions

  • Providing bioanalytical support for New Discovery Paradigm (NDP) activities and discovery studies, ensuring high‑quality data generation that enables project decision‑making.
  • Performing LC‑MS bioanalysis of small molecules, peptides, ADCs and biologics, including method development, optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Conducting bioanalytical assays both manually and using robotic platforms, processing data and preparing clear, structured reports for project teams.
  • Using advanced software tools for data analysis (e.g. Mass Spectrometry software, Excel, Prism, SciexOS) to ensure robust interpretation of complex datasets.
  • Exploring and implementing automation and software‑related solutions to increase workflow efficiency and throughput in the bioanalytical laboratory.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams (e.g. pharmacokinetics, discovery, development) to align bioanalytical strategies with project objectives and timelines.
  • Ensuring all activities are performed in line with internal quality standards, laboratory safety policies and applicable regulatory expectations.
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practices and supporting the adoption of innovative analytical technologies.

 

Your profile

  • A degree in analytical chemistry or a related scientific field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in bioanalysis, pharmacokinetics or related disciplines.
  • Proven expertise in mass spectrometry, including technologies such as Triple Quadrupole and High‑Resolution MS, with strong understanding of quantitative bioanalysis principles.
  • Hands‑on experience in liquid chromatography (LC) and in different sample preparation techniques such as solid‑phase extraction (SPE) and liquid‑liquid extraction (LLE).
  • Proficiency with Mass Spectrometry and data analysis software (e.g. Excel, Prism, SciexOS or equivalent).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to present scientific results clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong motivation to quickly learn new skills and adapt to evolving analytical technologies.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail and a structured approach to experimental design, documentation and data integrity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, laboratory‑based environment, managing multiple activities in parallel.
  • A proactive, problem‑solving attitude and willingness to explore automation and digital tools to enhance laboratory efficiency and scientific impact.
