Job description
- Design, develop and maintain backend components for Banking applications.
- Ensure corrective and evolutive maintenance of existing applications, including third‑party solutions.
- Analyse and implement user stories from the team backlog, from specification to deployment.
- Participate in workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to understand, challenge and clarify requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement, reliability, performance and maintainability of applications.
- Proactively identify and propose improvements to existing solutions and processes.
- Collaborate closely with other developers, analysts and testers while remaining capable of working independently.
- Produce clear and structured technical documentation where needed.
- Advanced knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET development using C# and VB.NET.
- Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles and microservices-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with SonarQube, Dependency-Track and Azure DevOps (CI/CD, pipelines, repositories, work items).
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or similar).
- Experience in application support, maintenance and backlog management (incident handling, change requests, minor evolutions).
- Good command of Office 365 tools and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to challenge existing solutions constructively and propose alternative approaches.
- Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks.
- Good written communication skills (documentation, specifications, reports).
- Structured, detail‑oriented and quality‑driven mindset.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of WinForms.
- Experience in the banking sector and/or Digital Banking environments.
- Knowledge of Luxembourgish.
