Job description

We are looking for a Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant to support our clients in their SAP transformation projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end migration of master data, including data preparation, cleansing, transformation, loading, and validation, while ensuring coordination between business teams, SAP teams, and technical stakeholders.

You will mainly work on Material Master Data within SAP MM and PP environments and will have experience with migration tools such as LSMW, Winshuttle, or SAP Migration Cockpit, as well as data quality control and validation activities.

With proven experience in SAP Data Migration projects, you are autonomous, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing projects involving multiple stakeholders. Your ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams, combined with your English proficiency, will enable you to succeed in an international environment.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate the data migration project: manage the project schedule, track dependencies, report progress, and escalate risks.
  • Design and execute data migration file loads using appropriate tools (LSMW, Winshuttle).
  • Use SQVI (SAP Quick Viewer) to extract and validate SAP data.
  • Ensure data quality before and after data loads through reconciliation, consistency checks, and issue resolution.
  • Document migration processes, business rules, and data load results.
  • Support business and project teams during testing (UAT) and validation of migrated data.

What We're Looking For :

  • Strong knowledge of SAP, particularly the MM (Materials Management) and PP (Production Planning) modules related to Master Data management.
  • Proven experience using SQVI (SAP Quick Viewer) for SAP data extraction, analysis, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP data migration tools such as LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and, ideally, Winshuttle.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops and interact effectively with non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to coordinate data migration projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to data quality assurance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for preparing, cleansing, and validating migration files.
  • Previous experience on SAP transformation, implementation, or rollout projects is highly desirable.

What We Offer :

  • 60% employer-funded health insurance, with 100% coverage for your children.
  •  50% reimbursement of public transportation costs.
  • Hybrid working available, with a remote work allowance of €2.70 per day.
  • Meal card worth €10 per working day, usable up to €25 per day, with 60% funded by the company.
  • Access to HelloCSE, offering a wide range of discounts and special deals with brands such as IKEA, Pathé, Fnac, Cdiscount, and many more.
  • Opportunity to earn a €2,000 employee referral bonus.
  • Access to a wide range of free training courses, including Microsoft certifications.
  • Time Savings Account (CET) allowing you to accumulate up to 90 days of leave.
  • Profit-sharing and incentive bonus schemes.
  • Additional paid leave based on your length of service.
  • 3 paid days of family leave per year to care for a sick child.
  • 4 paid leave days for the partner of a pregnant employee to attend mandatory prenatal medical appointments.
  • Solidarity Day observed as a paid day off.

At Amaris, we strive to provide our candidates with the best possible recruitment experience. We like to get to know our candidates, challenge them, and be able to give them proper feedback as quickly as possible. Here's what our recruitment process looks like:

Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company.  That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.
We look forward to meeting you!
