Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Aftersales Change Management / Timing Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing engineering changes, coordinating the introduction of technical product updates into the aftersales network, and ensuring accurate spare parts planning throughout the product lifecycle. You will play a key role in optimizing inventory, maintaining master data integrity, and supporting seamless aftersales operations.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze engineering and product changes to assess their impact on aftersales operations, spare parts, and technical documentation.
  • Manage engineering change implementation and determine optimal phase-in/phase-out timing for service parts.
  • Coordinate with Product Development and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of engineering changes.
  • Maintain accurate aftersales master data and support Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) updates within SAP.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize spare parts introduction while minimizing obsolescence and scrap costs.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvements in aftersales change management processes and system workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Approximately 10 years of engineering experience.
  • Proven experience in Engineering Change Management, Configuration Control, or Aftersales Technical Operations.
  • Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly Product Development organizations.
  • Excellent project coordination, prioritization, and schedule management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on engineering compliance and data accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) systems.
  • Project management experience or certification is a plus.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
