Job description

Are you an experienced AS400 Developer looking to contribute to critical banking applications in an international environment? We are looking for a Senior AS400 Developer with strong expertise in the Olympic Banking System to join a dynamic team in Luxembourg.
 
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications running on the AS400 (IBM iSeries) platform.
  • Work on the maintenance and evolution of core banking applications.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality RPG code.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide efficient resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with development standards, quality guidelines, and best practices.
  • Participate in application support, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile:
  • 7 to 10 years of experience as an AS400 / IBM iSeries Developer.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with the Olympic Banking System.
  • Strong expertise in RPG development on AS400 (IBM iSeries).
  • Solid understanding of the banking environment and core banking applications.
  • Experience in application maintenance, enhancements, and production support.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
  • AS400 / IBM iSeries
  • RPG
  • Olympic Banking System
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with banking application integration.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and version control.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
