Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced Validation Analyst to join our team in Norfolk. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that equipment, processes, and analytical methods are properly validated in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
You will support production activities by providing ongoing quality engineering expertise throughout the product life cycle and by leading Non-Conformance (NC) and Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations.
This position requires a hands-on professional with strong technical writing skills, validation experience, and the ability to lead validation activities from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and execute Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) protocols
- Develop and review Test Method Validation (TMV) protocols and analytical test methods
- Provide guidance and direction to teams following validation documentation review
- Serve as a hands-on Validation Lead for changes to existing processes, systems, and equipment
- Review equipment manuals, specifications, drawings, and operational documentation to ensure validation and qualification protocols align with:
- Manufacturer specifications
- Operational procedures
- Calibration requirements
- Preventive maintenance standards
- Perform and document Non-Conformance (NC) and Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations
- Analyze processes and implement quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, statistical tools)
- Support product and process risk management activities (PFMEA)
- Contribute to Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives
- Assist during internal and external audits, clearly explaining validation and qualification activities performed on site

Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field (Science, Engineering, or related discipline)
- 5–7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
