Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Carry out sampling and biological testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished or intermediate products, and utilities (e.g. water systems and compressed gases) in accordance with GMP standards.
  • Support manufacturing process validation activities through appropriate biological testing.
  • Perform routine environmental monitoring within classified production areas.
  • Provide laboratory support for new product introduction and transfer activities.
  • Participate in laboratory investigations, contributing to root cause analysis and timely closure of deviations and CAPAs.
  • Execute routine equipment upkeep, including maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Support method transfer, verification, and validation processes as required.
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and updating of quality documentation.
  • Escalate any observed issues or non-conformities to the QC Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Apply 5S/6S principles to ensure proper inventory control, laboratory housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
  • Comply with all safety, security, and environmental requirements, including proper waste handling and disposal.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in biological or microbiological testing within a laboratory environment.
  • Understanding of GMP requirements and quality compliance.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment operation, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Experience with laboratory documentation systems and standard digital tools.
  • Academic background in life sciences or a related scientific discipline.
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail and a quality mindset.
  • You demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You demonstrate clear and effective communication skills.
  • You demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
