Job description

We are looking for a Global Clinical Distribution Lead to join the PTDS-L (Clinical Distribution) team. This role is a key contributor to Roche’s global clinical supply chain, ensuring the timely and compliant distribution of clinical trial materials to patients worldwide.

Based in Toronto (Mississauga) and working closely with global teams in Switzerland and the United States, this position manages the end-to-end distribution for more than 600 clinical trials across a global network of 24 depots. The role is critical to ensuring that no patient misses treatment due to supply delays.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days onsite per week in Toronto.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and ensure on-time, end-to-end global distribution of clinical trial materials.

  • Support and participate in cross-functional teams such as Project Execution Teams (PETs) and global Study Execution Teams (gSETs), leading distribution-related discussions and decision-making.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and system-related issues that may impact clinical supply timelines.

  • Coordinate closely with Clinical Demand and Supply Leaders to ensure optimal depot inventory levels across the global network.

  • Drive and support process improvements and strategic projects within the global clinical distribution framework.

  • Maintain high data accuracy within the CLARA system, including system monitoring and diagnostics.

  • Operate in full compliance with GMP requirements, managing quality incidents, CAPAs, and change controls as needed.

  • Act as a key distribution subject matter expert, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and regions.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in clinical trial management, clinical logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain roles (pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred).

  • Strong ability to work with SAP and other IT systems, including system troubleshooting and diagnostics.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).

  • Professional certifications such as APICS, SCOR, Lean, or Six Sigma are considered an asset.

  • Experience working in cross-functional, cross-cultural, and agile environments.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex global settings.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Expected Compensation Range:
50K-65K The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements. 

Canadian Experience Requirement:
No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
