Proven expertise as a Back-end Developer, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical sectors

Strong experience with LabVantage LIMS, Java, and Groovy

Solid understanding of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and core informatics processes

Experience in managing complex software projects or digital products within regulated environments

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Expertise with Agile/SAFe methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban)

English fluent is mandatory; Spanish is nice to have

Background in software development for biotech, pharma, or laboratory environments preferred

Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to design, develop, and maintain LabVantage LIMS solutions

Implement and integrate LIMS modules to support laboratory workflows and data management

Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Java and Groovy, ensuring system reliability

Work closely with QA, DevOps, and business units to ensure smooth development, deployment, and adoption

Ensure software meets quality, compliance, and regulatory standards relevant to biotech/pharma

Track metrics and KPIs to optimize system performance and laboratory operations

Facilitate collaboration across IT, laboratory, and business teams

Contribute to the long-term vision of digital transformation initiatives within the laboratory environment

Oversee creation of technical documentation, release notes, and LIMS configuration guides
