Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
The role
Amaris Consulting is looking for a hands-on Construction Project Manager to lead on-site project execution for one of our clients in the construction or infrastructure sector. You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of the project — from preparation to final handover — and serve as the single point of contact for all technical, operational, and client-facing aspects.
You will lead site teams and subcontractors, manage scheduling and budgeting, ensure quality and safety compliance, and guarantee that the project stays on track in terms of time, cost, and scope. This position requires strong field presence, technical rigor, and the ability to work with various stakeholders including engineers, architects, safety coordinators and the client.

Prepare project schedules, planning, and resource allocation

Review blueprints, specifications, and bills of quantities

Estimate costs and track project budgets

Lead and supervise site personnel and subcontractors

Ensure daily site operations meet safety, quality, and compliance standards

Maintain accurate site documentation and progress reports

Resolve technical challenges in coordination with engineering teams

Conduct regular client updates, site meetings, and reporting

Manage final delivery, documentation, and punch lists
Your profile

Around 5 years of experience in construction or site project management

Proven knowledge of construction methods, structural elements, and project execution

Confident in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and budgets

Skilled in scheduling and resource coordination

Strong understanding of site safety practices and compliance (VCA VOL or equivalent)

Fluent in Dutch; good command of English

Available to work on-site full time, for the full duration of the assignment
