Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Amaris Consulting, part of Mantu Group, is looking for a Medior Fullstack Java/Angular Developer to join our teams in Brussels and contribute to high-impact digital transformation projects across finance, insurance, and public sector domains. You’ll take part in all phases of software development, from design to deployment, in a collaborative and agile environment.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications with a focus on performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to deliver robust and secure solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and implement best coding practices.
- Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring application reliability and efficiency.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
🎯 Your Profile:
- You hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- You have 4 to 6 years of professional experience in fullstack development.
- Solid expertise with Java (Spring Boot) and Angular (v8+).
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and microservices architecture.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and French – mandatory.
- Dutch is a strong advantage for local client interactions.
- Comfortable working onsite in Brussels.
