Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Would you like to start a new professional adventure as an PLC Commissioning engineer | Italian & French Speaker in one of our opportunities in the Aerospace and Defence sector in Genoa?
π What will you do?
- Design and develop PLC software for industrial automation systems and material handling systems in the aerospace sector.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging, diagnosing and resolving faults in automated systems and material handling machinery.
- Integrate and test new software solutions with hardware devices, ensuring smooth system operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and optimize the interaction between software and industrial plants.
- You will work on-site 5 days a week to ensure perfect alignment with the project.
- Support the installation and commissioning of automation systems at client sites, providing technical assistance and training.
βοΈ What do we require?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience in PLC programming using Siemens (knowledge of TIA Portal, Step7, Rockwell, Beckhoff, or equivalent platforms will be considered a plus).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and solve problems in automated systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Expertise in industrial automation and material handling, with the ability to work on complex systems.
- Academic background: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering/Automation Engineering.
- Fluent English and native Italian.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
