Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Amaris Consulting is looking for a senior and proactive Product Owner to join our team in Brussels. In this role, you will drive the product vision, manage strategic backlogs, and coordinate delivery within dynamic, cross-functional Agile teams. You will play a critical role in aligning business priorities with impactful digital solutions across sectors such as banking, insurance, public services, and industry.
π₯ Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Define and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications
- Own and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery and alignment with strategic goals
- Guide Agile teams through ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Lead workshops, drive consensus, and maintain a strong product vision across stakeholders
- Work closely with developers, UX/UI teams, and QA to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features
- Analyze product performance, user behavior, and feedback to inform iterative improvements
- Contribute to testing, go-live coordination, and post-launch optimization
π― Your Profile:
- You hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or a related field
- You bring 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role (Business Analyst, IT Project Manager) within Agile environments
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle, Agile/Scrum practices, and digital solution delivery
- Skilled in managing stakeholder relationships, balancing priorities, and driving product strategy
- Comfortable navigating both business and technical contexts with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English and French – both written and spoken (mandatory)
- Dutch is a strong asset, especially when working with local clients
- Available to work on-site in Brussels, with occasional remote flexibility depending on project needs
