Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Amaris Consulting is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Brussels. In this role, you will act as the key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, contributing to the successful delivery of digital and transformation projects across various sectors.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications or user stories for technical teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, or system enhancements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with business users.
- Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.
- Support the testing phase, including writing test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including process flows, use cases, and business rules.
- Act as a trusted advisor during project lifecycle and provide support during change management.
🎯 Your Profile:
- You hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, Economics, or a related field.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a consulting or corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of business process modeling and common analysis techniques (UML, BPMN, etc.).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and French – mandatory.
- Dutch is a strong plus, especially when working with local clients.
- Experience in banking, insurance, or public sector environments is a plus.
- You are available to work on-site in Brussels.
