Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Amaris Consulting is looking for a skilled Mid/Senior Java Developer to support digital transformation and modernization projects in enterprise environments. This is a full remote position, with optional access to the Libadiye office.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

Participate in code reviews and ensure the implementation of best practices.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable microservices.

Contribute to system architecture and help transition legacy applications into modern, containerized microservice environments.

Optimize application performance and ensure the security and scalability of systems.

Maintain documentation and provide technical support throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices.

Preferably experienced with one or more of the following technologies:

Kubernetes
-
Docker
-
AWS
-
OpenShift
-

Experience working on microservice migration or transformation projects is a plus.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
