Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Amaris Consulting is seeking a motivated Junior .Net Developer with skills in C# and Python to join our team in Brussels as part of the VIE program. This full-time position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment while contributing to the development of innovative software solutions.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of applications using C# and Python.
- Collaborate with senior developers and technical teams to understand functional requirements and implement solutions.
- Participate in unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Learn and apply best practices for secure coding and software development.
- Contribute to code reviews to enhance your skills and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide support to end-users and assist in resolving technical issues or bugs identified in the system.
- Help create and maintain technical documentation for projects.
- Gain exposure to DevOps practices to support development and deployment processes.
🎯 Your Profile:
- A master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of C# and Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies is a plus.
- Interest in learning about DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Passionate about personal development and collaboration with team members.
- Mobility to work in Brussels.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
