Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Amaris Consulting is seeking a talented Tech Lead .NET with a minimum of 6-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Brussels. This full-time position is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in developing robust software solutions and is passionate about leading teams in a collaborative learning environment.
π₯ Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of applications using .NET technologies, primarily C#, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to gather and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality, reliable code within the .NET framework.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in secure coding and software development across the team.
- Participate in and lead code reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide advanced technical support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing complex issues effectively.
- Efficiently manage and resolve technical challenges or bugs identified in the system, driving solutions to completion.
- Deliver comprehensive technical documentation for projects, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
- Spearhead the implementation and management of DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
π― Your Profile:
- A minimum of 6-7 years of experience as a developer, with a proven track record in a leadership or senior technical role, specifically within the .NET ecosystem.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (a master’s degree is preferred).
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in .NET technologies, particularly C#.
- Strong experience in software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices within the .NET framework.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud services.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment, with experience leading Agile teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with a strategic mindset.
- Passionate about coaching and mentoring others, with a strong ability to inspire and lead teams.
- Willingness to work in Brussels and flexibility for occasional travel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
