Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Take Your Career to the Next Level with Amaris Consulting as a Java Developer – Madrid.
Join an international team, thrive in a global group with an €800M turnover and over 1,000 clients worldwide, and work in an agile environment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in .NET for backend development, as well as knowledge of Vue.js, Angular, or React for frontend development. Experience with Git, working in agile environments like Scrum or Agile, implementing microservices architectures, and interacting with APIs is also essential.

✍️ WHAT DO YOU NEED? ✍️
✅ At least 3+ years of experience in Java 8+ development with frameworks like Spring Boot.
✅ Experience in developing microservices architectures.
✅ Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
✅ Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
✅ Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
✅ Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
✅ Implementation of unit and integration tests.
✅ Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
✅ Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
✅ Version control with Git.

- Design, develop, and implement microservices using Java (Spring Boot).
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and handle event-driven architecture concepts.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Ensure code quality with unit tests and continuous integration (JUnit, Mockito, TestContainers, etc.).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD implementation and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
