Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
At Amaris Consulting, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented Automation and Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team, based in Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation and robotics solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation and robotics systems to optimize manufacturing and production processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the viability of automation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide training and support to staff on the operation and maintenance of automation and robotics systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation and robotics.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
🎯 Your Profile:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in automation and robotics engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automation and robotics technologies, including PLC programming, HMI development, and robotic systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
- Proficient in automation and robotics tools and software (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Fanuc).
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
