Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
At Amaris Consulting Belgium, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented Hardware Qualification - I&C Engineer to join our dynamic team in Belgium. In this role, you will belong to a small team designing solutions for internal users using advanced technologies. As a consultant with us, you will develop modern applications and system solutions for our clients, primarily focusing on hardware qualification and instrumentation & control (I&C) systems.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize hardware qualification processes for various I&C applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Conduct hardware simulations and testing to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with a committed and collaborative team of professionals, including software engineers and product managers, to implement hardware solutions that meet project requirements.
- Lead debugging and troubleshooting initiatives to address hardware-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor hardware performance metrics and analyze data to track progress and identify trends for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present technical reports on hardware performance, improvements, and compliance status to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative solutions are applied.
🎯 Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in hardware qualification and I&C systems or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware qualification standards and instrumentation & control systems.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; fluency in Dutch or French is appreciated.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in backend development with a strong enthusiasm for software engineering.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- A creative thinker with a focus on finding effective solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
