Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
At Amaris Consulting in Gothenburg, Sweden, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, working remotely. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team focused on building and maintaining scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support our clients' needs. As a consultant with us, you will develop robust solutions that drive our clients' success.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases.
- Engage in cutting-edge projects focused on cloud technologies and DevOps practices within a committed and collaborative team of professionals.
🎯 Your Profile:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong enthusiasm for automation and cloud technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A creative thinker with a focus on finding effective solutions.
- Experience in implementing monitoring and logging solutions is highly preferred.
