Job description
We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our Life Science team in Toronto. Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges.
You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as a Downstream Specialist.
Your main responsibilities:
- Perform downstream bioprocessing activities with a focus on chromatography and filtration techniques.
- Utilize software tools like MES, LIMS, and PI Historian for process monitoring, data management, and reporting.
- Develop and write detailed reports, including process validation, deviations, and technical summaries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Maintain compliance with GMP and other regulatory standards throughout all activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or University degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in downstream processing within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proficiency in chromatography and filtration methodologies.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and OSIsoft PI Historian software.
- Strong technical writing skills for report preparation.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
