Job description

As a Machine Learning Engineer with Amaris Consulting, you’ll build and deploy machine learning models that help businesses derive actionable insights from complex datasets. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to create scalable solutions that directly impact client success.

Responsibilities:

  •  Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for various applications, including predictive analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  •  Build and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows, ensuring data integrity and availability for model training.
  • Experiment with different algorithms and optimize model performance to meet project requirements.
  • Deploy machine learning models in production environments using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps best practices.
  • Work closely with data engineers to source, clean, and transform data for machine learning applications.
  • Analyze and evaluate model accuracy, scalability, and overall performance; perform ongoing model maintenance and tuning.
  • Develop APIs and integrate models with client systems to ensure seamless end-to-end implementation.
  • Document the machine learning lifecycle, from initial data exploration to model deployment and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical solutions and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • πŸŽ“ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • πŸ’Ό 1+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role in data science or AI.
  • 🐍 Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • ☁️ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for model deployment and management.
  • πŸ”„ Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices for deploying, monitoring, and scaling models in production.
  • πŸ› οΈ Familiarity with data pipeline and ETL tools, SQL, and big data frameworks (e.g., Spark) is advantageous.
  • πŸ—£οΈ Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in French and English  or Dutch and English  is required.
