As a Scrum Master within our team, you will support and facilitate the Scrum team in Vietnam and foster collaboration with our Japan-based teams, driving project success and team cohesion. You will be responsible for helping everyone understand Scrum theory and practice while coaching team members to become self-managing and cross-functional.

About The Job

  • Support and facilitate the formation and function of a new Scrum team.
  • Educate and coach team members on Scrum theory and practices.
  • Mentor the team to achieve self-management and cross-functionality.
  • Remove impediments to the team’s progress.
  • Assist in creating and managing the product backlog.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain Scrum metrics.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant background.
  • Scrum Framework Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with the Scrum framework.
  • Software Development: Solid understanding of the software development process.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Japanese (N2 level or higher).
  • Soft Skills: Independent, responsible, and self-motivated; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in programming or software engineering.
  • Relevant Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, CSD).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies beyond Scrum (e.g., Lean, XP, TDD, ATDD).
  • Experience living or working in Japan.
  • Proficiency in English.
