Your Role:
As a Test & Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying and validating the design and functionality of innovative devices. You will ensure the highest standards of product quality and reliability by conducting rigorous testing and verification processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and archive objective, reproducible, and maintainable test designs and protocols/procedures.
- Perform Design Verification and Product Verification, guiding the selection of the most effective test design techniques.
- Define acceptance tests for verification of requirements with shared responsibility for project scope, requirements, and risks.
- Measure key progress indicators including requirement coverage, test protocol effectiveness, test execution, and defect identification and closure. Conclude on available data to monitor progress, identify risk, and judge release readiness and release quality.
- Conduct tests to verify functionality (performance, reliability, security, compliance) based on a risk-based strategy and formally report the results.
- Document test plans, protocols, and reports.
- Review product requirements, designs, and changes from a test perspective, liaising with stakeholders to ensure testable and maintainable systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical degree, or equivalent professional engineering experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Test & Verification in highly regulated environments (e.g., medical, automotive, or aerospace).
- Expertise in Design and Product Verification processes.
- Hands-on experience in testing hardware components in a laboratory environment.
- Proficient in test design techniques and planning, with ownership of test design and execution
- Experience in applying specific regulations and standards.
- Experience in test methods, test development, and test execution.
- Ability to create detailed and precise technical documentation for compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, research, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams. Dutch is a nice to have.
- A collaborative team player with flexibility and mentoring abilities.
- Practical, proactive, and capable of managing and delegating tasks when needed.
