Job description

We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer with a passion for technology and a strong background in software development. You will be part of a large team, collaborating on exciting projects that push the boundaries of drone technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain applications using Golang.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable solutions.
  • Work with gRPC and ZMQ for efficient communication between services.
  • Utilize SQL for database management and data manipulation.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in Golang development.
  • Experience with gRPC, ZMQ, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of C++ is a bonus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English or Afrikaans (non-negotiable).

During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
