Amaris Consulting is looking for an experienced System Engineer to manage and maintain our infrastructure, ensuring the smooth running of network, server, and system applications across multiple environments. The role involves proactive monitoring, problem resolution, installations, updates, and support for various time zones depending on the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational management and support of infrastructure, ensuring stable network, server, and system applications.
- Monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, and resolve incidents escalated by the Service Desk or generated by the monitoring system.
- Install, update, test, plan, and configure infrastructure systems.
- Provide flexible support for different time zones based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with local IT teams for technical scoping and implementation of datacentre solutions.
- Ensure high availability of systems and infrastructure.
- Work with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve technical issues.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience managing large Windows Server-based platforms.
- Strong expertise in Windows operating systems, including Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, IIS, SCCM.
- VMware Virtual Infrastructure management.
- Networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLAN concepts, and firewall configurations.
- Proficiency in Powershell scripting for automation and management of Windows infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Office365 and Azure.
- Experience installing active devices in datacentres.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written), as this role operates on a global level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Linux systems.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent (BE / MCA).
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure and VMware.
