Mission Description

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer with proven experience in the decommissioning of nuclear power plants. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field. You will be responsible for ensuring that decommissioning projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage decommissioning projects, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct detailed assessments and analyses of nuclear facilities to develop decommissioning strategies.
  • Utilize modeling techniques and Python programming to create simulations and predictive models.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project activities and ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in nuclear decommissioning.

 

Profile Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering or Chemical/Physical Engineering with a specialization in Nuclear.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in nuclear decommissioning or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and experience with modeling tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A BNEN certification is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
