Job description

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee the operation, organization, and management of our data center rooms. 

 

🔥Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the operation, organization, and management of data center rooms, ensuring optimal environmental conditions, security, and efficiency.
  • Responsible for the integration, maintenance, and support of data center hardware, including lifecycle management from procurement to decommissioning.
  • Manage and support SAN systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and efficient storage solutions.
  • Administer Cisco Unified Computing (UCS) system, GPUs, and VMware infrastructure (vCenter, ESX) to ensure a resilient, scalable, and efficient virtualized environment.
  • Utilize CommVault for comprehensive data protection strategies, ensuring data integrity, and executing efficient backup and recovery processes.
  • Manage Block, Objects, and Files systems to support scalable storage solutions and content management.
  • Provide expert-level support and maintenance for critical IT stacks, ensuring their reliability, performance, and alignment with organizational needs and security standards.
  • Identify opportunities for the use of new tools, methods, or technologies to enhance infrastructure operations.
  • Propose solutions for the integration of modern infrastructure elements such as cloud services, virtualization, containerization, and automation.
  • Conduct studies on Bare-Metal OpenShift, alternatives to VMware virtualization, and HCI platforms.

 

🎯 Your Profile :

  • You have a minimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure, with a strong background in data center operations and hybrid cloud environments.
  • You have a proven track record of managing data center resources and integrating hybrid cloud solutions.
  • You have a solid understanding of data center technologies (e.g., SAN, Cisco UCS, VMware), backup and disaster recovery technologies, and hybrid cloud models.
  • You have knowledge of system standard updates and hardware maintenance procedures.
  • You have excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external vendors, stakeholders, and have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • You can demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, integrity, and professional development.
  • Availability to work outside business hours or on weekends as required by operational needs.
