WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️

Experience with MicroStrategy:

  • Strong experience administering the MicroStrategy platform, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of MicroStrategy tools, such as Architect, Developer, and Web.
  • Experience using MicroStrategy to generate reports, dashboards, and BI solutions.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL, as MicroStrategy interacts directly with database systems.
  • Familiarity with server architectures, networking, and security in BI environments.
  • Experience managing MicroStrategy servers in both on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Languages:

  • Intermediate/advanced level of English (B2 or higher) to collaborate with international teams.

MicroStrategy Platform Administration:

  • Manage the configuration, installation, and maintenance of the MicroStrategy infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the MicroStrategy server, ensuring optimal response times and high availability.
  • Administer platform updates and patches, ensuring the system is up to date with the latest versions and security enhancements.

Security and Access Management:

  • Configure and manage security within MicroStrategy, including user, group, and role management.
  • Ensure proper implementation of data access and security policies to safeguard sensitive information.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide daily technical support for MicroStrategy users, resolving platform-related issues, and optimizing queries and reports.
  • Diagnose platform issues and propose solutions to improve system performance.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor system performance and workloads, adjusting configurations to enhance efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring processes to identify potential bottlenecks or capacity issues.

BI Application Deployment:

  • Coordinate the deployment of BI applications and projects in MicroStrategy, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production environments.
  • Collaborate with development and data analytics teams to optimize reports and dashboards.

Documentation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for platform management and administrative procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in platform administration and propose new solutions.
