Job description
In your new job you will:
- Be responsible for test hard- and software development for Si and SiCpower semiconductors
- Manage test specification discussions in project teams
- Generate test programs, integrate test equipment, debug, validate and document test results
- Optimize test methods to improve quality and reduce costs through test platform transfers
- Closely cooperate with different development teams and production locations
- Implement test solutions
Your Profile
You are an pro-active, self-driven and analytical character who finds problem-solving exciting (as readjustments of e.g. test procedures are part of your daily work routine). Furthermore, you possess the ability to work in a structured, efficient and independent manner, able to solve problems and to prioritize tasks accordingly.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline
- Ideally first experience in test engineering / product engineering
- Sound knowledge of electrical circuit and hardware programming
- Ability to work in a structured, efficient and independent (prioritize tasks) manner
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB for automating hardware testing processes is a plus
- Fluent English communication

During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
