At Amaris Consulting, we are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled BI Engineer to join our team in Belgium. This VIE position is designed for individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience in the field, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our innovative projects. As a BI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business data and providing insights that drive decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable business intelligence solutions. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex business challenges and enhance operational efficiency. 

 

πŸ”₯Your Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement effective BI solutions and models to support business decisions. 
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data for non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through thorough testing and validation. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics. 
  • Provide training and support to users on BI tools and best practices. 
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of BI and data analytics strategies. 
  • Work within a multicultural team, contributing to the team's success and knowledge sharing. 

 

🎯 About You 

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business intelligence or a related field. 
  • Strong understanding of BI technologies and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL). 
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts in a clear and effective manner. 
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a team environment. 
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French or Dutch. 
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A masters degree is mandatory for a VIE.
