At Amaris Consulting, we are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled BI Engineer to join our team in Belgium. This VIE position is designed for individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience in the field, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our innovative projects. As a BI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business data and providing insights that drive decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable business intelligence solutions. 🔥Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective BI solutions and models to support business decisions.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through thorough testing and validation.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Provide training and support to users on BI tools and best practices.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of BI and data analytics strategies.
- Work within a multicultural team, contributing to the team's success and knowledge sharing.
🎯 About You
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business intelligence or a related field.
- Strong understanding of BI technologies and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts in a clear and effective manner.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French or Dutch.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A masters degree is mandatory for a VIE.
