Job description
As a Senior Manager within Amaris Consulting, your mission will be to develop, make profitable and perpetuate what will be your own Business Unit by being the main decision-maker on the operational and strategic side. To achieve this, you will work on a daily basis in three main areas:
Strategy & Business Development
- Define and implement your Business Unit's growth strategy, forging new partnerships and consolidating existing ones.
- Negotiate and write structured technical and financial sales proposals, in coordination with the Pre-Sales team.
- Monitor customers' activities to anticipate their needs and win new strategic projects.
Management & Human Resources
- Manage, coach and support the development of junior managers.
- Recruit, coach and develop a high-performance team of consultants.
- Manage your consultants' careers by stimulating their skills development and professional fulfillment, with opportunities for functional or geographical advancement.
Business Unit Management:
- Contribute to the construction of the annual Business Plan and achievement of objectives.
- Manage your business unit's Profit and Loss (P&L) to enhance turnover and contribution margin.
- Challenge and optimize existing processes to improve operational efficiency and contribute to collective success.
About you :
We are looking for senior profiles with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ambition to take on new challenges :
- Graduated with master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related majors.
- You have at least 2+ years of experience in Business Development activities with strong knowledge in one of the following verticals: Engineering/ Aerospace and defense.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit, keen sense of communication, strength of conviction, leadership, and ability to identify talent and to develop skills to adapt to the local economy.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Italian.

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
