Amaris Consulting is Seeking a Backend Developer to Join Our Team in South Africa!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust and scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Develop and maintain the central database, MongoDB.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Thorough understanding of Node.js and its core principles.
  • Experience with building RESTful APIs using Express.js.
  • Experience with database management using MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, etc.) is a nice-to-have.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
