Job description

Provide the technical lead and coordination for all service activities for assignments classified as medium engineering complexity. Ensure that activities related to all engineering and service disciplines within the AMC sites are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Ensure the Service portfolio is delivered effectively according to client's standard processes and safety guidelines to satisfy customers. Execute technical support, act as specialist and solve problems in own expertise area. Proactively communicate both with thecustomer and Client's sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and
business opportunities utilized for service growth.

 

  • 24x7 Service delivery (with 2 hrs SLA) for Data center customer
    installed base in Singapore

Provides technical support and solves problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category (installation and commissioning; maintenance; repairs; engineering and consulting; advanced services; extensions, upgrades and retrofits; end of life services, replacements, etc.).

  • Site Commissioning support

Collaborates with the project installation, commissioning and site activities clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors. Takes part hands-on during the commissioning and start-up activities.

  • Technical leadership and knowledge sharing, Processes and tools

Acts as overall technical Service lead for the engineering disciplines included in the AMC projects. Actively collaborates and does knowledge transfer from the Project Engineering team and other service team colleagues, supporting with technical advice and guidance. Cultivates a network of engineering professionals both within and outside own business unit and shares best practice across different projects and disciplines. Creates standard processes and tools.

  • Customer Approach

Manages customer relationships and maintains regular contacts with key customers. Identifies new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and Client's sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth. Conducts specialist support and advisory service for Sales team.

  • Documentation and reports

Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in DCS project engineering and/or DCS service with experience in Data Center projects an added advantage
  • Minimum with recognized degree or Diploma in Engineering with experience in automation systems
  • Computer literacy and competency Microsoft office tools.
  • Knowledge of ABB 800xA system or AC500 system is added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
