Job description

We are looking for a Power electronics engineer to join our Team in Berlin. The position involves the design and development of auxiliary converters for railway and bus applications.

Your responsabilities πŸŽ―  :

  • Design of auxiliary converters for railway and bus applications.
  • Specification of components and setting technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Specification, execution, and documentation of a variety of validation tests.
  • Participation and support of our production and series testing.
  • Creation of the technical documentation required for the project.
  • Technical point of contact for our customers, to challenge their requirements and offer tailored solutions.
  • Support for our service and repair department in analyzing and rectifying faults.
  • Support for the technical sales team and participation in the standardization and improvement of our product families.

 

Your profile πŸ”₯:

  • You have a good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
  • You're an electrical engineer with + 5 years of professional experience in the field of converter development.
  • You have proven experience in the field of design and application of power electronics, preferably in the areas of auxiliary power or railway technology.
  • You enjoy working in an international and interdisciplinary team.

 

Nice to have πŸ‘€:

  • Experience in the use of SiC semiconductors.
  • A PhD in the field of power electronics would be beneficial.
