We are seeking a Software Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience for our esteemed client, Amaris Consulting. This is an opportunity to work on an Undetermined Duration Contract in Belgium.

  • Designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications using SQL and Python.
  • Maintaining existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
  • Investigating new technologies that could enhance current systems or lead to innovative solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the design process.
  • Evaluating user feedback to improve software performance observations.
  • Taking part in code reviews to ensure high-quality results.
  • Creating technical specifications based on business requirements provided by stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has strong problem-solving abilities along with excellent communication skills. We're looking for individuals who can demonstrate their knowledge of SQL and Python through past projects or experiences.

  • You have between 1-3 years' experience as a Software Engineer or similar role where you've used SQL and Python extensively.
  • You possess strong analytical thinking capabilities coupled with attention-to-detail.
  • Your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly is second nature.
  • You thrive when working collaboratively but also excel when given independent tasks.
  • A proven track record of delivering high quality code under tight deadlines is something you take pride in.
  • Your understanding of modern development methodologies (Agile/Scrum) is a plus.
  • You are always eager to learn and adapt in an ever-evolving technological landscape.
