Job description

We are currently seeking a QA Tester to join our dynamic team at Amaris Consulting. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 1-3 years of experience, looking for a challenging role in the IT field. The position is based in Belgium and will be offered as an Undetermined Duration Contract.

 

πŸ”₯Your Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing and executing automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly and tracking bugs.
  • Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Liaising with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Monitoring debugging process results.
  • Involvement in the creation of comprehensive test plans and ensuring their timely execution.
  • Evaluating application systems/software effectiveness by conducting system audits of technologies implemented or enhanced during projects.

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science or related field; alternatively, equivalent industry experience may also be considered.
  • You possess 1-3 years' experience working as a QA tester or similar role.
  • Your knowledge about software development lifecycle is commendable.
  • You're proficient in written and spoken English language.
  • Your attention-to-detail helps you spot even minor discrepancies easily.
  • You're familiar with Agile frameworks and regression testing would be advantageous.
  • You're a team player who can also work independently when required.
