Job description

We are looking for a developer specialized in Markit EDM technology to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our banking data system on the Markit EDM platform. You will play a key role in managing our critical financial database, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.

 

πŸ”₯ Your responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Markit EDM platform for managing the financial data of the banking institution.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand functional requirements and design appropriate technical solutions.
  • Participate in the design and optimization of database schemas to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Implement automated data flows for integrating external data sources such as market data providers.
  • Conduct rigorous testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions, adhering to security and compliance standards.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve production issues related to Markit EDM data and applications.
  • Stay abreast of Markit EDM technology advancements and propose continuous improvements to optimize processes and performance.
  • Collaborate with software development teams and architects to integrate Markit EDM solutions into the company's overall technology ecosystem.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of developed solutions and associated processes to facilitate maintenance and future enhancements.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and meeting business needs for financial data.

 

🎯 Your qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions on the Markit EDM platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of the banking industry and key financial concepts.
  • Mastery of databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server, with the ability to design and optimize complex database schemas.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in French and English
