Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to handle the organization of key client projects in the Engineering industry and take a key role in the development of our Basel office.

 

As Technical Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. At the same time, your entrepreneurial spirit will help you to participate in the development strategy for our Basel office, with responsibilities including offer construction, leading new processes and collaborating with some of our other 65 offices worldwide in order to be recognized as key figure for Amaris Switzerland. 

Responsibilities

  • Technical project management (cost estimation, scheduling, coordination with different departments, meetings' management)
  • Engineering projects management (specifications, installations concept, risk analysis & improvement measures)
  • Procurement management (tender documents, inquiry and order management)
  • Construction site management (planning, preparation and implementation)
  • Documentation management 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as Project Manager in an industrial environment 
  • Solid technical background, with a good understanding of Good Engineering Practice 
  • High level of reliability and safety awareness
  • Fluency in English and German (written and verbal)
  • Very Good Adaptability and understanding of complex organizations
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • PMP / PRINCE II / ITIL certification is a plus
